Bramble Lodge Day Nursery was founded in responce to an awareness of the growing demand for high quality day care and pre-school education. We are a family run business and currently the owners are heavily involved in the day to day running of the nursery, encouraging the family enviroment. Bramble Lodge aims to provide a safe and happy environment for each child whilst incorporating the Early Learning Goals and the Birth to Three Matters Framework into everyday activities, which is necessary for school life. Evidence shows that the early years are the most important and formative, so when choosing a nursery it is important that you make the right choice for your child. We provide a wide range of resources using materials such as sand, water, clay, dough, paint, junk modelling and heuristic play and treasure baskets etc to create challenging and rewarding experiences for your child. We encourage children to develop pre-writing, reading and numeracy skills, we believe children should learn through play, which is structured but natural and informal. We provide a large selection of carefully chosen toys and large play equipment for all ages. We also have a safe outdoor play area and encourage music and movement which is a large part of the curriculum and develops balance, control, spatial awareness and confidence. During the nicer weather we have sand play, water play and painting outside and we have a gazebo for all children in the garden, to ensure the harmful UV rays do not harm your little ones. Bramble Lodge encourages parental involvement, as we feel it is important that registered parents feel happy with the care their child is being given. The nursery staff are also advised (where possible) to keep registered parents informed about their child's progress on a daily basis, while they are within our nursery enviroment. Registered Parents are also welcome to visit the nursery at any time during our opening hours. When we take children on excursions from the nursery premises, we invite parents to come along and help our staff, which can be very rewarding for the parents to see their child in the nursery enviroment. Our Nursery is fully OFSTED registered and regulated. Our premises have been improved and fitted to exceed the required standards required by the relevant authorities, which now includes a new extension housing the school room. Our nursery is held in a friendly, loving, homely environment catering for children aged birth to school age, part-time and full-time sessions are available on request and where available.
